Introduction

Welcome to the 5-day intensive course on Research Design, Data Management, and Statistical Analysis using Stata tailored for professionals working in Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
This comprehensive program is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to design rigorous research studies, efficiently manage data, and conduct advanced statistical analyses using Stata software.

Introduction to Stata and Data Import
• Overview of Stata software and its features
• Data import/export procedures in Stata
• Data types and variable properties in Stata
• Data manipulation techniques using Stata commands.
• Hands-on exercises: Importing and cleaning data in Stata.

Day 4:
Statistical Analysis with Stata (Part 1)
• Basic statistical concepts and terminology
• Descriptive statistics using Stata.
• Exploratory data analysis (EDA) techniques
• Hypothesis testing: t-tests, chi-square tests, etc.
• Practical session: Conducting basic statistical analyses in Stata.

Day 5:
Statistical Analysis with Stata (Part 2)
